Wow! Here we go!


Wow the day is finally here, I have a live web page! It seem like it's been an eternity getting to this point and it's a relief to have it done, it's not perfect and I'll probably change it a hundred times before I'm happy but I've started.

We should all look at health and exercise the same way, just start! There's always going to be numerous reasons why planning to exercise 5 times a week is inconvenient, so don't, don't even plan 2, just go for a walk, ONCE! Then next week, go once more, the week after that maybe go twice. Over time you will develop habits around being active, that's when you start to make it a priority and realize the time you never had was always flexible and if you wanted it, you'd find.....no.....you'd make the time. For example, if your washing machine decided to pump all it's water out and it went through your house, your carpet got wet, water soaking up the gib in your walls, would you make the time to clean it up and organize insurance, be there for contractors to come and quote and then come back for repairs? If you answered yes, then is it reasonable to think that if your health was a priority, you could make the time?

Exercise is a way to improve your quality of life, improve/maintain bone density, your ability to run with your children, run from danger, connect with other people, I could go on. Mostly I think it should be fun, otherwise it's a chore

This week, do something different, just on one day, when you get home one night instead of watching TV for 30mins go for a walk then tell me how feel the next day.
